How it works

The Sparkle Platform consists of:

  • a mobile Client that runs in the background for leading smart phone platforms
  • a web and application API
  • pre-packaged consumer services

When deployed on handsets, the Sparkle Client provides platform developers access to a number of services including location, security, and user level controls to manage voice, data and applications on the handset. In addition, when deployed with carriers, it provides developers access to these services via a simple cloud-based API.
